Dear George Clooney, Please Marry My Mom Book Review

Summary

Violet’s father may have abandoned her family, but that is absolutely no excuse for Violet’s mother to date sub-par men with horrendous names such as Dudley Wiener. That’s what Violet thinks, anyway. So, along with her best friend Phoebe, Violet sets out to land her mother the perfect guy: George Clooney himself.

After all, her mother’s romantic choices affect Violet and her younger sister Rosie too. But nothing is as easy as Violet hoped, and more than a few parts of Violet’s plan are going awry.

Review

Dear George Clooney, Please Marry My Mom is a terrific novel filled with laughs and wonderful characters. Violet is a very relatable character who is so fun to read about. Like Susin Nielsen’s other books, Dear George Clooney blends the perfect amount of humour and meaningful messages to create a fantastic book that is guaranteed to be adored. I would recommend this book to fans of Susin Nielsen’s other books or Goldfish by Nat Luurtsema.
